Rob Zombie popularized the “hillbilly horror” subgenre with films like “House of 1000 Corpses” and “The Devil’s Rejects,” but writer/ director Jon Killough did it over a decade earlier by making a movie that’s fun for the whole family… the Manson family, that is! Crawldaddy and her kids travel cross-country selling fine leather apparel when their van breaks down in the Ohio backwoods. Auto mechanic Tom and his wife Whinnie put them up for the weekend, until ex-cop neighbor Paul discovers what their product is really made of...

Painstakingly restored from a 2K film scan of the original 16mm A/B roll cut negative with a dynamic 5.1 surround remix, “Skinned Alive” debuts on Blu-ray. This Ultimate Edition includes hours of vintage and newly-prepared bonus materials plus three audio commentaries. Starring Scott Spiegel (“Intruder,” “Evil Dead II,” “From Dusk ‘Til Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money”) and produced by J.R. Bookwalter (“The Dead Next Door,” “Robot Ninja”)!
